Wynnum Wolves Football Club Inc

Since its very early years the club has ridden a rollercoaster journey between the First and Second Divisions of the local football scene. While many other clubs have fallen by the wayside or merged with neighbouring entities to ensure survival, Wynnum has remained steadfast in its mission to provide a strong and vibrant football club for the local community it services. A purple patch through the early 2000s saw the club’s first team recognised as one of the best and brightest in the Brisbane League on the back of multiple Premiership and Grand Final victories. Many imported players contributed to the club’s first team on-field success during this era, but a shift in priorities over more recent seasons has seen the club re-focused on investing in its grassroots community and its goal to invest in and develop local juniors to progress through the ranks towards first team football at Wynnum and beyond. It is from this grassroots-first development philosophy that Wynnum Wolves Football Club has spring-boarded strongly into its second century of football.
